Name of the posts: Engineers Trainee
Age limit: The upper age limit is 27 years for Graduate Engineers and 29 years for Post Graduates Engineering, reservation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology OR 5 years integrated Masters Degree or Dual Degree programme in engineering or technology in the disciplines of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from recognized by UPSC/AICTE.
Application fee: Applicants pay the fee in the form of challan for Rs 100/- for general applicants (No fee for SC/ST/PH applicants) through the powerjyoti account. The fee details will be available on the BHEL website from 04-01-2012 onwards.
Selection procedure: The selection will be including of GATE 2012 score of the applicants in the concerned disciplines and performance in interview and medical examination.
How to apply: The qualified and eligible applicants have to apply through online at the BHEL website from 04-01-2012 to 28-01-2012 only after registration in GATE-2012. After submission of online application applicants take print out of the application form, paste a copy of the same photograph used for GATE-2012, sign at the space given in the form and send it along with fee payment challan to the BHEL address on or before 22-02-2012 (For remote areas 29-02-2012). Applicants those who want to apply these posts of Engineers Trainee in BHEL will be required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering-2012 (GATE-2012) which has been advertised in the newspapers on 11-09-2011. The score of GATE will be utilized by the BHEL for inviting applicants for a personal interview.
